Circular Economy
Research Collective
The Circular Economy Research Collective (CERC) connects leading researchers from Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Iceland, accelerating sustainable solutions through collaborative innovation.
About CERC Nordics
An interdisciplinary research network connecting circular economy researchers from the Nordic countries to address our region's sustainability challenges.

The Challenge
The Nordics' per capita material footprint is among the highest in the EU, if not the world. Planetary boundaries are being exceeded one after the other, and the trend is not reversing.

The Opportunity
Much is already happening on circular economy in the Nordics. This network brings the opportunity to connect these efforts and push them further, making the region a pioneer in circular solutions.
