Aayat Malik

Aayat Malik is a graduate researcher at Politecnico di Milano with a background in Environmental Engineering and Civil Engineering. Her research interests focus on Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), circular economy, environmental sustainability, and sustainable production systems. She is currently working with the Life Cycle TEAM at Politecnico di Milano, contributing to the EU-funded CIRCMAN5.0 project, which focuses on circular manufacturing and closed-loop value chains for photovoltaic technologies. Her work involves environmental assessment, life-cycle inventory development, and the application of life-cycle thinking to circular PV value chains. While her current research is not specifically focused on the Nordic countries, she is particularly interested in how circular economy strategies, life-cycle approaches, and resource-efficient production can support the transition toward more circular industrial systems. She is keen to connect with researchers and practitioners in the Nordic circular economy community and explore opportunities for knowledge exchange and future collaboration.
